The Yellow-headed Parrot is a native bird of Mexico. Its range reaches up to the northeastern corner of Mexico. Its range covers the southern half of Mexico, and into the southern Central American countries. It can be seen in southern California, in the southeastern corner of Texas and in southern Florida.
