The Ring-necked Duck has similarities in looks when compared to the Tufted Duck or the Greater or Lesser Scaups. These black and white waterfowl are all similar in size to each other. The Ring-necked Duck is seen throughout all of North America and into Central America. It is also seen throughout all of the Caribbean Islands.
