The Red-legged Kittiwake is seen mostly on the outer reaches of the Aleutian islands and on the islands in the north Bering Sea. They can also be seen along the northeastern coastlines of Russia. These kittiwakes can be distinguised from the Black-legged Kittiwake by their darker coloured mantle.
