The Olive-backed Pipit is a vagrant visitor to North America from Asia. This pipit breeds mostly in Russia, during the winter months it migrates into the southern Asian countries, such as India, Thailand, southern China, Vietnam and others. It has been seen on the western Alaskan islands and on the North American continent.
