North American Birds Calls

The Elegant Trogon can be found in the Sky Islands in southeastern Arizona near the Mexican border. These large colourful birds are cavity nesters and require old growth forests with older trees. This beautiful long-tailed bird's call reminds one of the sounds of a small dog barking.
